It is really simple - if you live under your Father's roof, you follow his rules.

This holds true when you finally get into the work force - if you work for a company, you are loyal to the company and follow their rules.

Sure, you can talk to him and try to chnage his mind, but until that happens, he is the boss.

Very true, but a good boss/father can be reasonable and compromise.

You know, I mostly quoted Nighthawk, so I'm going to take what little I said out, and say just read Nighthawk's post and the others again. Good luck, and hang in there.
