Half Lamonted at the Christmas Mud Party

This evening I wore my SWK Weathered Lamont (half set) to the Christmas party down at the ceramics shop where I fire my work. I'm always afraid to wear a wool kilt down there because of the clay, and tonight we were cooking hand made pizzas in a kiln. I took a towel to sit on and a large linen table napkin that covered most of the front of my kilt though. They are used to seeing me in my BZK canvas kakhi, so I got lots of complements. I wore a blue shirt and brown tweed shoes with matching driving hat, and everyone seemed to like the combination. There was one argument about the colors in the kilt, but I don't know who won.

that's great! What cone do you take the kiln to in order to do a pizza? Also, what fabric was the kilt? Just wondering, because of the high heat.

P.S. Do you have any links to your work? I was never any good with ceramics but I dated a girl who was, so I lived in the college's ceramics studio for two years or so. I miss seeing new stuff all the time.

The pizza would cook at about cone o fifty. Na, that's down at the candeling temps, so about what you would set a regular oven at. Works pretty good.
The kilt I wore was a wool kilt, and I am very worried about the heat with some of the things we do down there. I usually have on a thick cotton apron though. Tonight I was mostly worried about getting clay and pizza goop on my kilt.
I'm working on a way to post my kilt pictures in the future, so maybe I could put some pictures of my sculptures in there. I don't put them on the web because I'm not mass producing them. I'll see what I can do.

Just for the record, the kilt, shoes, and hat I wore at this party were the same as seen in this thread (post #10), but a different shirt.

Also, the picture of me in the black leather vest, with Sylvana, was at the same ceramics studio, and Sylvana was at the Christmas party.

I want one of those SWK Lamonts so bad... It's never gonna happen, though- they aren't doing any more, and they ran out of my size before I had the cash... You lucky dog. Oh well. Sounds like you had fun.

NightHawk, the strange twist here is that you have a wool Nightstalker that I want so so bad too. I'm beginning to think that we are identical twin weirdos through adoption, split at un-birth, and with no genetic relation what so ever... Freaky.

Well, there are... differences, but... What I want to know is which Eddy mask goes better on a fur sporran, The long skinny face or the later "Killers" face. Perhaps the bald "Piece of Mind" Eddy, Power Slave Eddy...

First of all- how in the name of the gods did you know that I'm a fanical Iron Maiden... fan? Second- I think the Piece of Mind Ed would go well, although the Edward The Great mask would also work well.
