I still don't even know that you have black hair for sure, but...

French blue... I don't think it's Royal blue...
Ted, I think String may have auburn coloured hair (I'm not really sure as the computer I'm using at the moment doesn't have the best picture.) So, if she doesn't have black...idea's out.

    And French Blue is lovely.

Well, we should probably let string speak to her own hair color then. Brown hair would look interesting with blue tips. I guess blue would go well with a lot of hair colors... maybe not gray. Good luck String.

I'll add, yes String, I am strange or weird. I'm kind of out of faze with most people, but that's the way I am. Oh well...

This is the color of my hair, It is a strange color that is too light to be brown and too dark to be blonde. I refuse to bleach it (horrible for your hair) and it's actually never been dyed before. What I was thinking was just dying the bottom 3 inches the best bluest blue I could find. I will need to be able to hide it relatively easily but I can do that. My roommate has promised to help me do the deed, whenever we can get the supplies or whatever it takes.

Good luck String. I know the type of brown-ish you are talking about. You'll have to take my word on this, but I was thinking that wasabout the color of your hair until Joel said it was black. Um... I think blue would look very nice with that color range. Hope you have fun. Turkey feathers, te he, or it might be better to say tail feathers.

No... more like "loony" or one of those fancy medical terms like that. I believe Grandmother's term for us was "teched in the head." All I know is that I do not fit in at all. Oh well, I'm teched.

Right now I'm just working on learning to forget, and un-knowing things. You know, "I don't know anything about that"-ism. It's probably related to the Tao somehow, but I don't know anything about that, LOL!

When it comes to memory and thinking...it's best to play unknowing...at times. I've done it before. I find that when you know a lot, people seek you for advice. That's always been my problem.

But, I'm reminded of a saying: "It doesn't matter what you think - you'd know this if you were married."

Now, back to hair...and I got nothing.

Well, blue is a very special color to me personally. I think putting blue on the ends of your hair is a very nice idea. I don't think making your hair all blue, in a punkish way, is that weird. I do however, think it is odd to dye your hair slightly blue if you have gray hair. The tiniest bit of blue would make white look a bit whiter, but I think that is painfully over done most times to the point of blue tented gray hair... You know what I mean.

That being said, I am lucky to have dark charcoal brown hair with a slight redness in the sun. This looks quite lovely with gray and as I age and someday go salt and pepper, it will be just fine. I am not graying yet, but will gracefully and happily embrace this as it happens. I also have never seen anything wrong with gray hair, and don't understand all the hubbub...

Yeah...that's the best attitude to have. I got my first grey hairs at age 12. Then they really started kicking in at 23. I like the all grey look.
