After making my morning run to the post office for my shipping while wearing my Khaki Canvas and a Rob Roy style sporran I made a quick run by KOHLS to check the latest clearance specials. At 60% off I found some great shirts to compliment my kilts. Then, with snow and ice coming today, it was on to the grocery where I found a sizable percentage of the town frantically buying everything possible to survive the fierce storm. We are expecting somewhere between one to two inches of snow and that means a full scale panic mode here. Trouble is that folks around Atlanta inevitably end up on the expressways when the sleet has fallen and that always results in countless numbers of accidents.

At the grocery there were many compliments re the kilt and even one young man who became an instant convert. One older fellow was really moved. Did I detect a slight hint of residual accent there? And, of course, there were the many northerners who enjoyed the sharing of their jokes about, "when we lived back in Michigan......." A nice outing, and I DO love spreading the gospel of the kilt!
