It was great to see something from Lake Lure, one of the most beautiful spots on earth. I used to live atop the mountain there on Sidney Lanier Road, where I wrote my first four books. Remember some winters lokking down the mountain over an ice covered wonderland. Have you ever seen what I caklled the old fort that is back in the woods near the top of Sidney Lanier. There is a VERY old roadbed made of huge hand hewn granite blocks and what appears to have been some kind of a gun emplacement up on the mountain. I doubt that anyone other than myself even know it's there. Has to be pre civil war era.
