I rather like the tartan, and I know Yeti has drooled on it a wee bit, but on student budgets I don't think we can be much of a help with getting it just yet, ask when one of us has obtained a real job. I expect to graduate in about 80 years.

Well sir then you are in good company as you now Gen. Morgan was from Lexington, the "Heart of the Bluegrass". Fun story (who knows if true or not) was that when being pursued through Lexington (after raids in Indiana and thereatened Cincinnati) he rode his horse right up the front steps, into the house, kissed his darlin' momma and rode out the back door.
Cheers!

Guys, good luck with the kilts, that is indeed a very nice tartan.
Mt. Sterling is just east by north east of Lexington where the good Gen. hailed from. My family goes further east towards the hills to Rowan County and the Morehead area. Been in KY for 150+ years as near as we can figure...need that kilt!

A man after my own heart. Check out the Makers Mark website, you can be a Makers Mark ambassador and get all kinds of cool emails and at Christmas you even get a little present in the mail, is a lot of fun.
If ever the the Commonwealth, look me up, first round on me!

Great idea, I did email them to that effect but have not heard back yet but hope to, between events in the area and other groups I am sure we can come up with enough people to get them done. Will keep you posted!

While I have "southern leanings" we honor the Blue and the Grey here, thats really cool. I think the Illinois regiment may have been involved in one of the bigger battles in KY , Battle of Mill Springs but have to check my history on that one!
All the best,
