While I have "southern leanings" we honor the Blue and the Grey here, thats really cool. I think the Illinois regiment may have been involved in one of the bigger battles in KY , Battle of Mill Springs but have to check my history on that one!

Perryville, actually. They weren't in KY too long before moving into TN in time for the Battle of Murfreesboro.

I knew it was Western KY (which really is where anything of "real" substance occoured" except for some skirmishes and of course Gen. Morgans expoits.
Also am really learning alot on this site and have already actually met some folks from here (at the Burns Night in Cincinnati) thank you again for the hospitality!
