    Ferintosh style is what I remember my Granny serving up, but two eggs, and minus the baked beans & mushrooms though. Porridge& hot milk of course started off the meal.

    I'd be doin' the exact same thing, Ozman! OR, if mum wouldn't eat it, I'd be quietly calling out, "Here doggy, doggy!"

    My dear grandma used to say, "I'll give you a nickel if you try this...I'll give you a quarter if you try that"...she was an adventurous eater...far more so than I!!
