That should make for a good looking kilt. Will you be pleating to the white stripe? I trust it is from the finest NZ wool.

It is from New Zealand pure merino wool woven by Alliance Textiles, Timaru, New Zealand.

Don't know how to convert. It's 230 grams/square meter.

Assuming 60 inches wide, and forgive a bit of rounding
60/39"/meter ~ 1.6 m x 230 g/m = 354 g/linear meter
354 g/linear m / 454 g/lb ~0.78 lb x 16oz / lb ~12.5 oz. Allowing for my rounding errors figure 13 oz. cloth.
