In general I agree with you but I'll wait till I see it with the rest of the outfit. Having sent time in the military I was used to seeing a bit of polished brass for everyday uniforms. This buckle might be a bit much but it might work. I'd like it better if it was plain and didn't have the Lion rampant on it.
