Solid Color Family "Tartans"...??

Don't mean to be silly or stupid here...just asking.

If a person's last name was Black, Brown, Green, White, or another color, would it be sorta maybe considered a "family tartan" to wear a solid color kilt whose color matched the family name.

Mr. White in a white kilt, Mr. Green in a green kilt, Mr. Black in a black kilt, Mr. Brown in a brown kilt....?

What say those with those, or other color, last names?

Not to sound rude, but "tartan" is made up of at least two colours and is twill woven where the weft threads go over two and under two of the warp. You may have a solid colour kilt, but you can't have a solid colour tartan.
