    and if i may, no pre-tied bow ties. (would you wear velcro-secured Ghillies?)

    It take maybe 15 mintes to ealrn to tie a proper bow-tie....and it looks FAR better. (and chicks totally dig it; They DO notice.) ((wives too))

    Amen. Once I got old enough to care about such things, I learned to tie a bow tie and made sure I only bought "real" ones. It's so much better. And the slight imprefection that shows you tied it yourself is just part of the look.

    There is another option, granted one that you can't take advantage of:

    Grow a full beard long enough that no one can see your tie anyway...
