I'm suppriset on so many good ideas for solving my problems. So, I will not use velcro and fasten the kilt mybe with buckles. Yes lining the under apron will help and will be done. X-Kilt instructions are quiet good. The only thing not completly understandable for me is revers pleat, specially the part on stiching it from waist to fell. Should it be stiched or not??
Thanks to all
Regards!

Velcro is fine for the waist...just don't put it at the bottom of the kilt.

If you put a waistband on the top edge, the reverse pleat does not need to be stitched waist to fell. The waistband will hold it in place just fine. If you are not adding a separate waistband, then you'd probably want to stitch it down at least half-way from waist to fell
