There were many who joined in the spirit of the day being attired what pleases them. This lass consented to be photographed with this old Highlander. I am wearing my Robertson red belted plaid. The shepherd staff drew many a comment.

There were a few kilties. This fellow as the only other belted plaid that I saw. The serving wench at the pub kept our tankards full.

There were no sheep. But there were these alpacas. It was a great day. Of course any day kilted is a good day!

    Awwwww!!!

A couple of years back I went to the VA Faire and they had some alpacas. One of the older ones was mostly deaf. The owner, however, put him to good use in training the younger ones. When something unexpected happened, the younger ones always looked to the older one to see how they should react. Since the older one didn't appear startled (because he hadn't heard the disturbance), the younger ones figured they shouldn't be upset either.

Very handsome Robertson plaid! You will have to share this with Robert aka Ancienne Alliance.
