I'm sure that in fact, most of the ladies in the SCD class harbor at least tiny crushes on our Panache!
"Tiny crushes"...ummm, more like great, big, huge crushes...understand, he is the youngest guy in class by....hmmm... like, say, nearly 20 years!

AH YESSSSSSS....I remember it well!
You have brought back a memory from 1971. I was walking down a very long walkway between buildings with my wife at my side. For the most part it was just another day and I was looking around at things on the ground as we walked. Then, in hearing someone approaching us from the other direction I looked up. As I raised my head I must have been more than a little obvious in my reaction. Coming towards me was THE PERFECT angel, a vision, the very embodiment of everything I had ever even imagined feminine beauty to be. Long reddish auburn hair, the skin of the Scots, not the pallid snow white, but the perfect background for the most delicate of freckles sprinkled oh so evenly. BUT those eyes, oh those eyes!!!! Deep, beyond all reasoning, deep blue eyes that almost beckoned and mesmerized. They drew me in such that I almost stumbled. Then came the slightest of smiles, the most feminine glance, and a look that I shall never forget. And, then we passed.
Oh what a memory!
