Got a date/time/place in mind?

It's 100% wool, 60 inches wide and a little over 4 yards long. It's not worsted, though, and the "bad" side is noticeably different from the "good" side, as you may be able to tell from the picture. I'm somewhat skeptical about its suitability as a kilting material, but I intend to make the attempt nonetheless...eventually.
Regarding activities after the 4th of July, there's the aforementioned "Scottish Invasion" on the 26th, which would draw more people than just us XMTS members, I assume. Not really kilt-related, but the British Emporium in Grapevine is hosting some event called "Monty Python Madness 2.0" the weekend of the 18th-20th. Just don't enter the Python Costume Contest kilted, or you may get your XMTS membership revoked.
Just a couple of ideas. For the most part, I have no idea what's happening in the Metroplex.

You are correct, I've seen the "Scottish Invasion" draw as few as 20 people and as many as 100. The year of the 100 we went to a very small restaurant and simply overran the place, overwhelming a very small wait staff until a few employees quit before the night was over. That mistake won't be made again. Wherever the location turns out to be, it will be big enough to accomodate us all.

Crap, I don't know. LOL
When is everyone free? I'm free most Saturday nights and I'm centrally located so anywhere is really ok with me.

Dean: Does the Scottish Invasion notify its victims beforehand?
Also, is there a dress code for the gentlemen who attend?
Bryan: I'm afraid it depends on the week, but Fridays and Saturdays are normally best for me. Sometimes Friday is better than Saturday, sometimes vice versa, and sometimes both are free, but I don't usually have anything unalterable planned. The exception is this Saturday, June 28th. I have plans for both the day and the evening on that day.
I'm centrally located as well, so location doesn't matter too much to me.

I haven't replied here about kilt nights for a while because Christopher may have to go out of town. We're trying to see what happens with him before we commit to any events. Hopefully we'll know soon enough and I'll send him over here to help pick out a date/s and location, etc.

Yes we usually make reservations for a party room, so in the next week or so, there will be a call-our for who's going so we can give the place a headcount.
While kilts are preferred, they certainly aren't mandatory (no reverse discrimination here!). I would say about 25% of the men are not kilted.

Hey, I've been to the Scottish Invasion. So is anyone going to the Plaza Pub this weekend?
Dean, do I know you?

All right, if I have a kilt ready to wear by then, I'll be kilted. If not, I won't. Keep us informed. Or make us all join the mailing list; whatever.
