Chinnubie MacIntosh was also instrumental in the design of the Tulsa tartan, worn by the City of Tulsa Pipes and Drums.
I've met him at the Tulsa and Ft. Smith (Arkansas) games back in the late 90s.

I believe he was at one time, but you're right, not now. I still like to think of him as such. He's a really nice fellow. I have also met him.

Are you referring to an officer in the clan society? Some expats societies refer to their presiding officer as a "Chief", but I am referring to an actual Chief of a clan, in case the Mackintosh of Mackintosh, who resides in Scotland.

Sorry, for not clarifying. I'll have to find the article I have about him. I think he was the Chief of the Clan, not the commissioner.

The Chief of the Clan is the Mackintosh of Mackintosh. Perhaps you're thinking of the office of President of the American clan society.

Like I said, I'll have to look at the article I have; I'm probably way off.
I stand corrected:
I looked up the article.
"Chinnubbie McIntosh is a descendent of the 16th Chief of the Clan Mackintosh in the Highlands of Invernesshire, Scotland. . He has served as a member of the Creek Nation Indian Council, has been a District Judge of the Creek nation and a Director of the Okemah Creek Nation Hospital Board. Not ignoring his Scottish ancestry, he has also served as the President of the Clan Macintosh Society of North America."
