For me, my Hunting Fraser, my only kilt, is just fine - handmade in Inverness.
If money were no object, I'd have silver fittings to my sgian dubh with a real Cairngorm crystal set into it - I only know of one place that sells them, under the counter, as it's illegal to mine for them nowadays. THe one I fancy would cost about £150/$300
I'd keep my brass chain and belt buckle as they go with the colouring of the tartan, but a solid gold kilt pin wouldn't go amiss.
