Kilt Do's and Don'ts

Another example from this past estes park games: Kilt too high, sporran too low (IMHO):

It appears that the kilt is not too high. The waist looks to be worn at the correct place on the torso. Most men would wear a longer length these days, but shorter kilts can be quite comfortable on hot days and for hiking.

As to the sporran, had he been playing the pipes or drums?
