From the LOTM: An item of Interest from the Yucatán Peninsula

Rev. MacGregor,

Indeed as you have surmised yourself, and your hypothesis valildated by our Mr. Dove, in the past I have turned my attentions to the writing of a few tales and some short verses of what I hope passes for poetry. I shared these with the noble membership of our forum in the hopes that they would be of some amusement. I shall attempt to list some of these shortly should your curiosity require further investigation into these minor works.

How about....fried chicken, macaroni & cheese, green beans, mashed potatoes, creamed corn, sourdough rolls and perhaps some green jello with cool whip for dessert? (Can you tell I grew up in the South?)
