Matt, these are beautiful. I really like the cabled cuff. I have a few questions: first, are these going to be offered in a fully fashioned version? second, how are the cuffs attached to the hose? and finally (off topic) is the kilt shown with the basket weave cuffs a weathered MacLeod of Harris tartan, and if so are the colors that I am seeing accurate (grey-green and olive brown)?

Fantastic! I need to start with yet another piggy bank to save up for at least one pair of these.

Fully fashioned version -- that I'm not sure about, but I'll go ahead and say tentatively yes. Let me know your calf circumference and I'll see what can be done.

The hose cuffs are sewn onto the socks.

And the tartan in that last pic is weathered Gunn. Very similar colors to weathered MacLeod hunting, but lacking the yellow.

I forgot my wife had taken this picture for her knitting group.

Matt thanks for the answers and the picture of the joining. I am not quite ready to pull the trigger yet, but for the record, just above the ankle bone, 10", around the calf 18".
