In America that would be pre-school, not kindergarten, and she taught pre-school because she lacked academic qualifications such as a degree. There's nothing wrong with not being bright, but IME a big difference in IQ is a problem in a relationship.

Prince Charles wears a kilt, too, although I can see that might not endear him to the Scots. Perhaps when he's eventually king all the English will don kilts!
Brilliant insight. Nursery school teachers are intellectually inferior. Those without academic qualifications are intellectually inferior. Wearing a kilt makes you a more sympathetic figure. Got it.

Interesting that the kilted intellectual was unable to see that the marriage was doomed to failure due to his bride's intellectual inferiority.

Sorry you feel that way. I was in no way trying to say that only the highly intelligent are deserving of respect, merely explaining why I did not think they were highly compatible. As we all know, there is more to what happened than merely the relationship between Prince Charles and Princess Diana themselves, and probably much that we will never know. My viewpoint is merely that the media at the time were very pro Princess Di and therefore not very sympathetic to Prince Charles' point of view. Of course, there are many reasons why someone can lack formal education and still be very intelligent, but few such people are born into the aristocracy, as Princess Di was. I pointed out that nursery school is not kindergarten just to dispel the mistaken notion that some people had acquired that she was a qualified teacher, not to put her down, but just to explain. Sorry I said anything atall. I was mainly addressing my comment to the person who posted before my earlier post, partially agreeing with him, but trying to say that the loss of income to the charity is the real issue, in case we should lose sight of that.

As Panache pointed out, I don't feel like that. The main issues here are: a) that the Gold Bros are accused of using a copyrighted tartan without permission and b) that Princess Di's charities are allegedly suffering because of a).
