understanding she is your mother and we don't know the dynamic, but just based on what you relayed....sounds like it is time to offer a swift kick in the nether parts of your female progenitor.
I mean...accuse you of making your son gay?
call you names IN FRONT of your son?
her claim of ANY sort of posession over YOUR son ('MY grandson')?
threaten your livelihood?
threaten to evict you? (that includes your wife and son, her grandson nonetheless)
im sorry, but no hat in an elderly man would take that pain and offense away, specially coming from someone who's supposed to love and understand US.
good luck to you, but from friends' experience...as long as you stay close to her...you'll never be really free and enjoy freedom of mind.
again, no offense, just an honest opinion of something you decided to make public.
