Winter hats?

Okay, if this has been asked before I cannot find the thread. But with our "Indian Summer" here in my corner of the world skipping fall temps & going straight into chilly winter temps, I have to ask: what does everybody like to wear for winter hats when out & about?

YUP, It is getting to be that time of the year, here in the PNW.

For the "chilly days, I wear either a wool "bamoral" ( full size ( 11"diam) NOT the normal "off the shelf" size") or a "newsboy style ("full cut")

For the "cold" days, I wear my FULL SIZE TAM (13 1/2" diam) This tam can be pulled dowm over my ears.
Often I wear it with my "blanket shirt" or my "capote" ( TREWS - YES)

Here is one I would "love" to have

Although this hat is not "scottish" It is GREAT for cold weather.
