This thread seems a wee bit out of place but here it goes.

Has anyone ever purchased a basket hilt from Alex and Scott Cameron (of the wild Highlanders) I know them to be first rate blades , but I can never find a price set for one. Having writen Scott on one occasion I managed to avoid having my question answered somehow
Has anyone ever purchesed on of these that would know how much I can expect to pay for it?

I don't know how far East Podunk is from Atlanta, but the Wild Highlanders will be at Stone Mountain next weekend. I'll be up there for the Clan Gregor, and as one of our members is in the WH, I'll try and remember to ask about their claymores...

Disclaimer: I've got a lot going on right now with my wedding coming up in December and all (in addition to being slightly ADHD), so don't hold me to the task. However, there should be several more X-Markers at the games so if you put the word out I'm sure someone could field a price for you...

Yes, I had considered that. I went looking for them there last year and some how managed to avoid finding them? I will be attending this year if all goes according to planned and I hope to find them there. I wanteed to know how much cash to have on hand before I went though so that I might make my purchase then. Many thanks to everyone for commenting!
