    I've done one like that years ago, it was a charity/fundraising rally car (1962 Fairlane), the customer wanted it gaudy to attract attention. We did it well. I couldn't identify the tartan but it was white/red with a bit of yellow. No pictures unfortunately. It was a real hard synthetic fabric, probably left over from the stylish 70's, the supplier was glad to get rid of it too.
