Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who has replied to the post. I new there would be a wealth of helpful information here. I think when I get back stateside I will be contacting Matt about ordering a box pleated kilt in this tartan. Still have a little more time to mull it all over, but I am pretty sure this is the route I want to go.

A great choice, I'd say. You won't be sorry when you get it around ya.

You won't regret it. I personally love to see district tartans being worn, be they for American states, Canadian provinces, Scottish districts, etc. I myself wear a "district tartan" for the State of Iowa, where my Scottish ancestors settled after immigrating to the US, and where my mother was born.

Be sure to visit Matt's web site: www.district-tartans.com.

You may want to think about ordering tartan sooner rather than later. The UK pound is down to US $1.64. Or you might want to wait and see if it drops further.
