Hi,

An observation from the Northern Panhandle: a huge percentage of the population of West Virginia is Scots, Scots Irish, Irish and Welsh. It has been my experience that not only will you not get any grief, but rather many people will approach you to talk of their Celtic heritage, enquire as to your tartan, and offer to buy you a round. As for the ladies, well, you will be the center of their attention.

I frequently wear my kilt in small towns and have never had any problem; wear your's with pride.
