Readers;
The blanket coat is a great project. I have made a few, mostly with Army Surplus blankets, the best was a Swiss Blanket Coat. Beware, a cheapo sewing machine may not work on a thick blanket. And clean out the sewing machine works often, the 'fuzz' from the blanket gets in the works and will jam things up.
Question, are you going to line the coat-either the practice or the good one?

I'm going to leave it unlined. I'll start posting my progress soon, it's been delayed by work.
The sewing machine I'll be using is an old heavy duty Pfaff, it'll sew anything you want.
