I don't think skulls would be a good idea on a sporran...
I have made ceramic skulls as well as, studied real skulls and skeletons as models for my work. They can be artful, but not in this way, unless you are making a costume.
I don't know about using bone on a sporran; perhaps carved or scrimshawed bone...
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
