Fantastic photos Gunnar! I've yet to visit Iceland, but it's top of the list on my roots route!
Hope you're surviving the economic crisis. From the news we're getting here in the US it seems like the Icelanders are having a very rough go at present.

well the financial crisis don't really reach to my, as I'm only a teenager, but people are losing alot of money, and some they'r entire savings. The unemployment rates were about 2% in the beginning of the year but now they are something like 10% and are constantly rising. But the governement have been given loans from IMF and alot from helpfull countries so I hope that things will get better. If they don't we'll probobly join the EU to get a new currency, the Euro.

Great Pics!! I love the contrast in areas. Some are grassy and others rocky. The house with the two waterfalls behind looks like a grande place. One of these days, I'd love to visit. Good job!!

Yes of course! I totally forgot that!
Pic.1: I mountain at the roots of the volcano Hekla, witch is on the south side of Iceland, as you can see there's alot of lava on the right side of the photo.

We often drive through a fjord close to Reykjavík called Hvalfjörður and here are some pics I took there and in the fjords close by.
