I had a great day as well. I got a new kilt in the mail.
My son Ben (14) has received permission from the principal at his junior high to wear the kilt and tape a documentary about how people react to it, as a class project in film making. He is in the 8th grade. I am very proud of him. I may have to spring for a real kilt instead of the one I threw together for him. It's not bad, mind you, but he's growing so fast I doubt it fits any more.
I wouldn't even wear short pants until I was 30. I'd never have had the courage to wear a kilt in high school. It is good I did not then know the things I know now.
More positive stuff like this ! There is much negativity to counter in the world.
