I am a Master Mason that has been invited to a raising at a nearby lodge. I have been invited by a brother whose friend is being raised. The brother in question has told me that permission was asked for and given to wear my kilt to the raising. With a condition. That I wear something under the kilt. Who has the right to make such a demand. And which lodge member will be assigned to check. I do not know whether to be upset or just let it go. The two brothers are officers in the local police force. The brother that invited me is a member of my lodge and has sseen me kilted several times in different settings. So, XMTS brethren, what do you think I should do. Go, not go. Kilted, not kilted. I would be wearing my MacRae 13 oz wool with Argyll and vest. And , btw, both came from Rocky at USAKilts. (Shameless advertising).

What to do. I am inclined to go and tell the Master of the Lodge  what he can do with his Kilt check. But bravado is strong at my keyboard. Thanks.
