At the bottom is an older period Kilmarnock bonnet. I'm not sure if this is the style you are looking for, but these are made to order, so maybe you could work out the details. Best of luck!

I think the link I provided is not the style you are after. Too old a style. I did some searching and, if I'm right, the style you are after is similar to today's balmoral, except the brim is broader and stiffer. Could a modern balmoral be modified with an insert that would give it that appearance?
