I feel your pain. . . . my deaf-aids (hearing aids) are dying. A new set will be about $4000, and not covered by insurance. . . no more kilt stuff until I get them paid for. . . . what kind of "jonesing" is that?

At least you won't have to hear the gnashing oof your own teeth, the scratching of your own finger and toenails against the floor as you dig with what seems like an indefatiguable energy into the hardwood as you cannot sit still and just wait---have to move, have to do something to keep me busy or my teeth will be ground down flat like a cow's and fingers and toes bloody stumps from the constant gnashing, scratching and scraping.

At least you can enjoy the peace of not having to listen to all the blood and gore on the daily news. Kind of the "No news is good news" phenomenon, at least for a while.

No really, best of luck with getting the aids replaces as soon as possible. As a former musician and avid musiclover I could not go through a day without my hearing. Music, let alone the squeals and coos of my young son each morning and night.
