Well, I finally got the Three Feathers buttons sewn on this morning so I thought I'd see what you guys think. I'm still waiting on the postman to deliver my formal sporran; it's black fur-on cowhide with a chrome cantle.
Here is the outfit as it stands now:


I'm a bit self-conscious about the quality of the kilt (SWK standard) for the Burns supper. I think it looks sharp and quite festive, but I've also never been in a room full of kilties. I fear it may stand out like a clown suit in a group of bespoke dinner jackets.
