Cheap, cheesey, tacky- those are words that come to my mind when I think of the Instakilt. And you know what? I'm a huge Bruce Campbell fan. So cheap, cheesey and tacky are right up my alley. I want one of those! They're awesome! ... in that The Man With The Screaming Brain kind of way!

That was pretty funny, and that is exactly what instakilts are meant to be
Cheers

I do a week long Bruce Campbell-A-Thon starting several days before New Years Eve, and culminating at midnight on Dec 31 with Army of Darkness. It's great.

Alas, I did not. But I wish I had. I would have bought one on the spot! I've a couple of non-kilted friends that give me grief all the time. What better way to "show them the light" than this?!

Thanks guys. That's totally how we want people to see it, an introduction to their heritage and open the door to consider getting the real deal. We've thumb-wrestled with a few purists who just don't get the whole towel thing. I'll spare the details, but what it boils down to is trying to compare hotdogs to prime rib. We appreciate all feedback and are always open to suggestions to better the existing line. Currently we're working on a pink style for the ladies that will also be slotted for doing breast cancer fundraising. Custom towels are also in the works for University pipe band fundraising/school book stores. Endless possibilities and loads of fun.

What's even better? What's even better than promoting something that you "created" out of whole cloth, something that is a passion, something that has the capability of transforming your entire life, and makes it possible to do things that before were just dreams?
What is better than that? To do it in the world economic mindset we are presently enduring. To refuse to participate in the "recession" and instead see opportunity for personal and business growth! Wow, what a way to honor the Scottish heritage. Just goes to prove you are only limited by your own belief in your dreams!

Purists have no sense of humor.
