Thanks Derek. They didn't have my size listed either; shoot them an email. Apparently they don't have everything on the site.

I may try that. They have my main size (40) but not the length... which would be a resounding "S".

    Cool. Thanks.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

Here is the outfit as it stands now:

I'm a bit self-conscious about the quality of the kilt (SWK standard) for the Burns supper. I think it looks sharp and quite festive, but I've also never been in a room full of kilties. I fear it may stand out like a clown suit in a group of bespoke dinner jackets.
No need to be the least bit self-conscious, you look fine. Take it from me, a dyed in the wool, curmudgeonly traditionalist, no one is going to give your kilt a second thought. You've put together a good, traditional look that is 100% proper for a Burns Supper, or any other formal evening. Well Done Lad!

All right, that Spencer jacket just moved to the top of my list.

I like that this Spencer Jacket is made from wool rather than the polyester as with most Eton jackets. The buttons are easy enough to replace.

Thank you all for your kind comments. I'll enter the banquet hall with my head held high and your kind words ringing in my ears.

Off to rehearse Auld Lang Syne...
