Lookin' good, Puffer, although IMHO the tie is a bit busy for the kilt, but that is an opinion of one, and since I don't weat ties, (except fpr Class A's) what do I know?
Wear it all in good health.

Victoria, I have worn a tie almost continuously for over 40 years & I use them to "sutilly" change the look of an outfit. The tie was chosen to fit the season (it has a Christmas motif + the colors) I wore it, plus the "snake garters, to present a "festive mood".IMHO, I felt the Jacket & Vest sufficiently separated it from from the kilt. If it had been a more somber occasion, the tie would have been my charcoal grey wool & the garters would have been either light grey or charcoal.
But then, I do not claim to be a "Fashion setter" I just dress to try to present, IMHO, a "respectable Look"

Ah, my apologies. I didn't realize it was a Christmas motif tie. That makes all the difference. From here it looked like flowers. I stand corrected.

Very sharp outfit. Like the holiday tie, and the colors in it really go well with the kilt.
