The Argyll I scored on ebay is a soft, sagey Lovat green. It's a very heavy, coarse tweed, but it still has a very soft hand. There's alot of subtle color variation, from light yellows to tan to some blues, but, as I said, the overall color is a sagey green. It has, as far as I can tell, real stag horn buttons. It's fully lined, very warm, and has that "vintage" smell... I love that smell.

The kilt is an eight yard, hand tailored, in a light weight (13 oz?), incredibly soft wool, in the Campbell Dress tartan.
Don't forget the outstanding tartan hose.

Silly me... How could I forget...? Those have to be the softest, most comfortable hose I've ever had on my feet, they fit like they were custom made for my feet and calves, and they compliment the kilt so well...
