I have worn my kilts in Springdale & "vicinety" What a BLAST, esp. the reactions from the Native Amer.s ( the Colevile & Spokane Rez.) They LOVE them !! Great way to talk "tradition"

My family homesteaded in the area about 1910. My grandpa used to have some great stories about growing up in the area... riding his horse to school, interactions with the local indians, etc. I have a bunch of aunts and uncles who still live in Colville and my grandparents are buried in Chewelah.
I love that area and try to get up there every summer. Small world! Most people haven't even heard of Kettle falls!
