Very cool man! Where did you get the horns? I had a great pair that I used when I wasn't shaving my head, but now you can see the nylon strings used to hold them in place.

Notice you don't see any thread?

Even if it was a good quality picture.

I used a good spirit gum and glued them onto my noggin.
Got a LOT of double takes as people realized there was no string.
Even had one guy ask if I had implants and had them screwed on.

I got those horns at Faerieworlds last summer.

Plan on making my own that are fitted to my head so they can be glued on and will be lighter.
These ones stayed on most of the night, but eventually fell off.

That is why I commented, no line from the strings. I'm going to try mine with some spiritgum, but think they are a little too heavy. May have to use some latex to build up a base to give more area for the gum to hold. Ran out of time this Halloween to experiment.

Tip from an old makeup artist; first build a base for the horn to rest on. Latex and guaze works well. Once be base has setup use spirit gum to attach the horn to the base.

When attaching these kind of things with spirit gum, apply to both sides, let set up for a couple of minutes, press lightly together, separate (you should see small thread strands) then press together and hold for about five minutes. Once both horns are on touch up with latex to cover the edge seams, let dry then blend in with pancake makeup, or airbrush. Try to stay away from grease paint with latex, as it tends to make the latex loose and unstable.

Couple of years ago we did Mid Summer's Night Dream, I was Bottom; removable donkey ears and snout, now thats a trick!

    Cheers!
