To the Stripe or the Sett, that is the Question?

I have a tank made by Barb T that is pleated to the sett. I might get my next tank done to the stripe, I'm not sure. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

If any of you have photos of kilts in the same tartan that one is pleated to the sett and one to the stripe, you should post them, that would be a cool comparison tool.

I prefer pleated to the stripe, but there are some tartans that just don't look good unless they're done to the sett.
