I can vouch for the extreme beauty of that part of South Wales. Unfortunately, the day I was there with Derek and Elaine, the weather just could not make up its mind - one minute the sun was shining brightly and the next it was absolutely pouring with rain - hence the nylon Inverness cape, and my uncertain steps on the slippery path.
