The beauty of the S.I.A. site is it is en Spanish. A nice handout (printout in Spanish) of either of these sites with pictures of the kilted performers would end the kilted Spaniard problem.
It is interesting that the parents see you as a Hispanic. I have had a similar experience with parents thinking that I am a minister, just because they only see me as a religious person teaching their children every Sunday. Our congregation's minister suggested that I should be in Clergy tartan for the occasions when I lead a service. I explained that I would then feel out of place.
My High School French teacher had a Polish name, and my German teacher was from Mexico. Go figure.
