    And don't worry about the white socks with that outfit. They look fine. I find that if I scrunch down black or navy or other dark socks, it leaves a lot of pasty white calf exposed. Not a happy situation. The white socks at least give the impression that I'm alive and cutaneous blood flow is taking place.

    I think the boots and scrunched socks go very well with the UtiliKilt. Have you been able to locate an alternate belt? Perhapse a workmans belt would work like what you hold a tool belt up with??

    Good tip. If you're on a budget you can pick one of these up at the hardware store for less than $10. They usually have a double-prong buckle in nickle plated steel, and often have a basket-weave pattern on the belt. A bit of black leather dye and a good polishing and you're good to go.
