You earned the sword, wear it proudly. Upon my discharge, I was presented an engraved K-Bar from my unit and we used it to cut the Grooms cake at our wedding. It's those personal touches in the ceremony and reception that will share many of the significant times in your and your Brides lives culminating in that day, with your invited guests.

Ooh-rah, Devil.
Once i thought about it for a bit, the idea of wearing any other sword just didn't fit. Even from a strictly historical stand point, an M1859 Saber carries plenty of weight in that department as well.
