Give it a go! Though it is VERY time consuming if you're just using hand tools. It is extremely rewarding to finally have a finished product that started out as a piece of bar-stock.

Will do, but first I must finish my Taiji practicing sword. The blade is made of "soft" inox for two reasons; couldn't get proper material and to be on the safe side during practicing (no sharpening)
