    Didn't Know

Wow. I didn't even know there was an "ignore" list. Since I only get updates on threads I've actually contributed on, I am already interested in what's being said on that thread. Otherwise I don't click on something (or someone I guess) that I'm not interested in.

Of course you won't get this if I'm on your ignore list.

If you go and look at your private messages, then I believe you're in your "control center" here at X Marks. Over on the left is a long list of links to do things like change your signature etc. etc. One of those is to edit your ignore list.

Use "ignore" with care, that's my opinion. If you just go "ignore" everybody who makes one or two posts that you disagree with, pretty soon you'll have the whole bluidy site on "ignore". I save it for people who really, seriously annoy me, over and over again and show no signs, after many months, of ever changing. I fully expect I'm on a couple of peoples "ignore" list and that's OK. In my humble opinion, the "ignore" feature is very valuable, but it's also my opinion that it should be used sparingly. Others may differ in their opinions regarding the feature.
