we didn't have that much time to have a good look (spent too much time going round the castle), as we needed to get over to tillicoultry before the shops closed but it was good viewing.

Edinburgh castle is our next wee jaunt

I would very much recommend Dunrobin Castle in Golspie. The back garden is beautiful and there is a falconry exhibit back there, too. There's also a family museum to the side.
